Carlstrom Foothills (Antarktis)




Carlstrom Foothills er ei gruppe fjelltoppar og ryggar som går frå nord til sør mellom Mount Albert Markham og Kelly Plateau i Churchill Mountains. Fjellet er 10 nautiske mil langt med toppar med ei høgd opp mot 1690 moh. Det vart namngjeve av Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names etter John Carlstrom ved astronomi- og astrofysikkavdelinga ved University of Chicago som leia senteret for astrofysiske forsking i Antarktis ved Amundsen-Scott-stasjonen frå 2001.[1]
