The Sweet Inspirations var ei USA-amerikansk R&B-jentegruppe skipa av Emily «Cissy» Houston (fødd Drinkard), mor til Whitney Houston, og systera til Lee Warrick (som igjen var mor til systrene Dee Dee og Dionne Warwick). Houston og Warwick var medlemmar av The Drinkard Singers, ei familiegruppe som er kjend for å spele inn det første gospelalbumet for eit større selskap - eit konsertopptak frå The Newport Jazz Festival i 1959. Besetninga bestod av Judy Guions (som seinare vart Judy Clay), Marie Epps, Larry Drinkard, Nicholas Drinkard, Ann Moss, Lee og Emily.
