Trevor George Lucas (25. desember 1943–4. februar 1989) var ein folkemusikar som var medlem av Fairport Convention og ein av grunnleggjarane av Fotheringay. Han spelte hovudsakleg gitar og var vokalist, men produserte òg mange album og skreiv filmmusikk mot slutten av karrieren.

Lucas var fødd i Melbourne i Australia og lærte seg å spele gitar for å hjelpe seg med dysleksien sin. Han gav ut dei to første platene sine i Australia før han flytte til England i 1965 med den første kona si, Cheryl. Der arbeidde han som soloartist og akkompangerte visesongarar på forskjellige viseklubbar. I 1967 vart Lucas med i bandet Eclection, der mellom andre Gerry Conway var medlem. Her spelte han bass og spelte med dei til dei gav seg i 1969.

Lucas var kjæraste med vokalisten i Fairport Convention, Sandy Denny i 1969 då han spelte på albumet deira Unhalfbricking. Dei to danna bandet Fotheringay etter at Sandy forlet Fairport Convention i 1969. Andre medlemmar i dette bandet var Gerry Conway, Pat Donaldson og Jerry Donahue.^[1] Lucas spelte akustisk gitar, men etter berre eitt album vart bandet lagt ned. Jerry Donahue gjorde i 2008 ferdig det andre albumet til Fotheringay, kalla Fotheringay 2.

Lucas hjelpte Fairport Convention på albumet deira Rosie i 1973, då han vart med i bandet i lag med Jerry Donahue.^[2] Den 20. september 1973 gifta Trevor og Sandy seg og kort tid etter kom ho med att i Fairport Convention.^[3] Seint i 1975 la Fairport ut på ein omfattande turne og kort tid etter forlet Donahue, Lucas og Denny bandet.^[4]

I april 1978 fall Sandy Denny ned ei trapp og døydde sidan av hjernebløding. Lucas måtte då ta seg av den nyfødde dottera Georgia aleine. Kort tid etter flytta Lucas attende til Australia med Georgia.^[5] Der gifta han seg på ny. I 1980-åra starta Lucas å produsere fleire album og skreiv etter kvart ein del filmmusikk. I 1985 kom han attende til England for å lage eit hyllestalbum til Sandy Denny.

I 1989 døydde Trevor Lucas av hjarteattak.
