The Washington Post er ei amerikansk dagsavis skipa 6. desember 1877.[1] Ho er den mest selde avisa i Washington, D.C., og dessutan den eldste. Sidan 2017 har slagordet til avisa vore «Democracy Dies in Darkness» (Demokratiet døyr i mørket).[2]


Avisa har vunne 47 Pulitzerprisar.[3]
