David Thomas «Dave» Mason (fødd 10. mai 1946) er ein engelsk songar-låtskrivar og gitarist frå Worcester, som vart kjend med rockebandet Traffic.[2] GJennom karrieren har Mason spelt med mange kjende pop- og rockeartistar som Paul McCartney, George Harrison, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Steve Winwood, Fleetwood Mac, Delaney & Bonnie, Leon Russell og Cass Elliot. Ein av dei mest kjende songane til Mason er «Feelin' Alright» av Traffic i 1968 og seinare spelt av mange andre artistar, som Joe Cocker, som fekk ein hit med songen i 1969. For Traffic skreiv han òg «Hole in My Shoe», ein psykedelisk popsong som vart ein hit. «We Just Disagree» vart spelt inn av Mason i 1977 og vart ein hit for Mason som soloartist.[3][4]


I 2004 vart Mason innlemma i Rock and Roll Hall of Fame som medlem av Traffic.
